This Privacy Policy explains how RND Stables, LLC ("RND Stables," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through rndstables.com (the "Website"). It covers the Website only. Boarding contracts, liability waivers, and other barn paperwork are governed by their own terms.
Information we collect
Information you choose to give us:
- Contact / inquiry form: name, email address, phone number (optional), area of interest, and your message.
- Liability release waiver (online): rider name, date of birth, address, phone, email, emergency contact details, parent/guardian details for minors, and your electronic signature and date.
- Paperwork sent to you by link (for example, a boarding contract): owner contact details, emergency contacts, horse information (including health, veterinarian, farrier, vaccination, deworming, and feeding details), selected services and pricing, and electronic signatures.
Information collected automatically:
- Our Website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.
- Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the Website and keep it secure.
- When you load a page, your browser requests fonts from Google Fonts. This sends your IP address and browser information to Google.
- If you choose to load the map on our Contact page, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address and browser information.
- We store your cookie choices in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every visit.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule tours, lessons, boarding, training, or hauling.
- To prepare, send, and keep records of signed waivers and agreements.
- To contact you or your emergency contact about you or your horse.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that host the Website and its database and deliver email on our behalf (currently Lovable and its infrastructure providers).
- Google Fonts and OpenStreetMap, as described above.
- Rocking RMB Equine Services, LLC, where the liability waiver covers activities with RND/RMB.
- Veterinarians, farriers, or emergency services when needed for the care or safety of a horse or person.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of RND Stables, our clients, or others.
Data retention
We keep inquiries and signed documents for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, insurance, and record-keeping needs. Signed waivers, boarding contracts, and related records are kept for 7 years after our relationship with you ends (or 7 years from the date signed, if there is no ongoing relationship), after which they are securely deleted.
Security
Submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in a private database that only authorized RND Stables staff can access. Completed documents are never publicly viewable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a security breach involving your personal information occurs, we will provide notice as required by the Oregon Consumer Information Protection Act (ORS 646A.600–646A.628) and other applicable law.
Your choices and rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We may need to keep certain records (for example, signed waivers) where the law or a legitimate business need requires it.
- You can change your cookie choices at any time using "Cookie Preferences" in the Website footer.
The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (ORS 646A.570–646A.589) gives Oregon residents additional rights with respect to businesses that meet certain thresholds (for example, processing personal data of 100,000 or more consumers per year). Based on our current size we do not expect to meet those thresholds, but we will honor reasonable privacy requests regardless.
Children's privacy
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Waivers and paperwork for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the minor's information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
